Calanus AS has announced that Professor Terje Larsen has accepted the position as scientific adviser to the company.
Professor Larsen is hired in a 20% position, and he will provide medical health advice related to the use of Calanus® Oil. He has good knowledge of research on marine oils, and has supervised several doctoral students in their work to uncover the effects of Calanus® Oil in preclinical studies.
“We are particularly pleased to have Terje Larsen in our team and know him as a solid professional in biomedical research,” says researcher Alice Marie Pedersen in Calanus AS.
Terje Larsen has a long research career within cardiovascular health at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway. He also has a comprehensive international network with partners in several European countries.
